First Foods for Baby 
Baby food doesn't have to come in jars. You can make your own at home, and it's not difficult. By making our own baby food at home you will know what’s in it,
you can custom tailor the texture to your baby’s taste preferences, shape baby’s tastes and help them to learn what fresh food tastes like.

Part 1
This class covers the fundamentals of making your own baby food.
  • Important safety rules to follow while preparing baby food at home.
  •  Proper storage methods How to freeze and unthaw at the right temperatures.
  • Taste tasting and comparisons to store bought foods will be provided, hands on demonstration, handouts and more Package to take home
Part 2 
Come learn how to introduce solids to your baby in order to maximize digestion, minimize reactions to foods and give your child a healthy start!
  • Which foods to introduce to your child first and why
  • How to determine if your child is reacting to a food when many reactions are considered “normal” 
  • Alternatives to common foods, which are healthier for your baby
  • Whether to supplement with vitamins or not
Part two is taught by a R.N.C.P.Meredith Deasley B.A., R.H.N., R.N.C.P., owner of The Resourceful Mother www.theresourcefulmother.com and a Registered Pediatric Nutritionist.
