How can something so natural be so complicated ? This essential 2 hour class will prepare you for a positive and confident start to breastfeeding. Manage the first minutes, hours and weeks with your new baby.  How the body makes breast-milk, managing hormones & breastfeeding, what your partner can do to be supportive, adjusting to life with a breastfeed baby, breastpumps, breastpump rentals and much more.

Our Lactation Consultant is

Nancy Gale a registered Practical Nurse at Southlake Regional Health Centre in the Maternal Child Department. She has 15 years experience with Moms and Newborns. Worked in Paediatrics Dept. for two years. Has been working in the Breastfeeding Clinic at Southlake and now on the post-partum floor. Dedicated to helping educate woman on surviving the first few days after birth and the benefits of breastfeeding to you and your baby.
