Pilates Program Instructor
Jennifer Barta is a Certified Pilates Instructor and received her certification from the Body Harmonics Pilates Studio
in Toronto in 2004. Jennifer
received specialized training in Pre/Post Natal Pilates when she was 7 months pregnant!
Having continued instructing and training through her first pregnancy Jennifer understands the physical changes and
emotional needs of moms and moms-to be. She has tailored a variety of Pilates
classes such as Mom and Baby Pilates, Pre-Natal Pilates and Pilates to meet those needs.
Jennifer also instructs group classes and privately in the Mount Albert and Keswick area.

Great way to get your body back into shape while bonding with baby and meeting other new moms! This class focuses on muscles groups that need a little more care after having a baby such as the abdominals,
the pelvic floor, and the lower and upper back. Reduce stress and tension, in
a relaxed atmosphere where you are encouraged to participate according to baby’s needs.
Classes are done bare foot, wear comfortable clothing and bring everything you need for baby. No pilates experience needed.
Adult Pilates
Wednesday or Friday Evening
Tone and build long, lean muscles, improve your posture, balance
and flexibility while reducing stress.
Time 8:15-9:15 pm

Prenatal Pilates
Keep fit, ease your delivery and recover more
quickly. Build strength, muscle tone and endurance to support all the physical
changes throughout your pregnancy. In addition to using the breath to energize
and revitalize the body focus will be on the core muscles that are involved in pregnancy and childbirth. Prepare your body for the exiting challenges of carrying and caring for your new baby, appropriate for
any stage of pregnancy. Classes are done bare foot, wear comfortable clothing,
no pilates experience needed.
