Great way's to workout - with your baby!

Mom & Baby Fitness-light cardio routine with baby combined with some "strength" moves using the baby - ie: squats, chest presses, modified push ups, core/tummy work.
Mom's should be at least 6-8 weeks post partum, The class is designed for babies who are pre-mobile and it is  recommended that babies be under 20 pounds. Mom's do not need a baby carrier, but it would be easier for them to do the class
Registering for: Monday February 6 (6wks)
*no classes Feb. 20 and March 12
Time: 9:30-10:30 am
Cost: $90.00 (inc tax)

Stroller Fitness is more than just  a stroll through the park! This program incorporates power walking, functional fitness through a circuit format, strength & core training, stretching and some fun for you and your baby! Location: Fairy Lake Park Newmarket
**in the case of heavy rain, Laura will let the group know about a class cancellation and when the makeup class will be. Cool, windy or very light rainy conditions will not cancel the Wednesday session

What to expect:

Ideal for busy moms who find it difficult to make time for exercise
Combines some of the best and most effective methods of exercise into 1 hour where you can be with your baby, meet new friends, be outdoors and learn some great forms of exercise you are also able to do on your own!
Your stroller & baby provide the perfect form of resistance for pushing as well as a great stabilizer for many exercises. Babies LOVE seeing all the other babies and
moms and we always make some time at the end of the class for our mini-coaches to have some fun too!
Details:

A jogging stroller is not necessary, just a sturdy stroller with brakes and a buckle/harness for baby. Stroller Fitness will take place at Fairy Lake in Newmarket where the paths are paved, which makes it easy for many types of strollers.
-Please wear comfortable clothing & shoes
-Please bring - a yoga mat, water, clothing layers & necessary items for baby
-Participants must complete a PAR -Q health form, be at least 6 weeks post partum with medical clearance to begin a fitness routine
