Prenatal Yoga:
A gentle yoga class catered to expecting mothers. Stretch and strengthen your body, learn breathing techniques, and connect with you growing belly. Recommended for all trimesters, but do listen to your body and what it needs from you. Experienced yogi's may practice right up to the birth and others may be more comfortable to stop a few weeks before the baby is expected. We encourage you to bring your own mat if you have one, although we do have mats available at the Centre.

Adult Beginner Yoga

This class is open to all levels and modifications available for beginners and the more advanced. This will be a Hatha practice exploring various asanas, beginner flows, breathing techniques and ending in a Savasana. Teens welcome

Mom & Baby Yoga
 (6wks-crawling)
A beautiful time for mothers with babies to just relax and bond together. This class includes gentle stretching for mother and baby, correct breathing for mothers and Yoga poses together and alone. This class also incorporates gentle massage techniques to soothe and calm your little one. We encourage you to bring your own mat if you have one; however mats are available at the Centre. Prior yoga experience is not necessary to join these classes and enjoy this special time !

Mom & Toddler Yoga (Crawling – 2 1/2 years)
Mom and Toddler Yoga is a great introduction to yoga in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, with no previous yoga experience required.  It’s also a unique opportunity to meet moms, receive support from peers, and discover their toddler’s emerging personality. Yoga has many benefits for all ages, including building strength, coordination, concentration, balance, patience, and confidence and more. Prior yoga experience is not necessary to join these classes and enjoy this special time
Time: 9:15 - 9:45 am
Cost: $65.00 + h.s.t.

BIO of Emilie Closs
" I have been practicing yoga for 9 years. I began when I was 16 years old and found that it assisted me a great deal during my high school years. This is why I enjoy teaching yoga to not just adults but children and teenagers. Providing them with the tools of yoga and introducing them to meditation. I love working with kids and like to provide them with a fun and educating yoga atmosphere."
Emilie is also a Certified Doula and teaches yoga to expecting moms and after delivery with moms and there new babies. Introducing yoga early on starting in the womb, is such an amazing opportunity to have more ease in labour and happier and healthier children as they grow.

Six years ago I experienced having an Ovarian Tumour, since then I have moved forward even more with my yoga practice. I received my training to teach and enjoy bringing yoga into people lives because it was also very healing for myself years ago. And from this experience I have developed an annual Yogathon for Ovarian Cancer. All proceeds are passed on to Ovarian Cancer Canada
